How-D-Do! Laura and Aaron Say I DO!!!

As fall is approaching at lightning speeds this year I keep doing everything I can to remind myself of Spring. Don’t get me wrong, Fall is my most favorite season of all but I feel a little like spring and summer got robbed this year… Aaron and Laura got married at the height of spring – when the flowers look gorg and the breeze blows just enough to cool off the grooms and groomsmen that are being tortured by suit coats and vests and long sleeved shirts. I always feel bad for grooms, when will they invent a sleeveless suit coat, or capri style suit pants? ok, I think the answer to my question is in the visualization of that look!

Aaron and Laura are pretty used to warm days though, they actually live in Texas but came back to Michigan for their big day (which makes me happy because I totally loved them from our first facetime convo!) They are ridiculously fun and have a positive energy that draws you into them. They really wanted to bring a little texas with them to their Michigan wedding and I think Melissa over at All About You Productions really helped them do that. You’ll see some amazing details below!

They had their reception at The Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills which, seriously, I can’t get enough of. They have such an intimate feel but can hold a lot of quests. This type of ambiance is a rare find! Very rustic, yet elegant. Romantic, warm and inviting. I’ve shot there a lot through the years and I always love how welcoming the staff is and how smooth all the events go. Definitely one of my favorite venues by far. If that didn’t sound like a shameless plug then I did something wrong… LOL! They deserve a lot of shameless plugs though!
