So I’m sitting here going through my winter/spring weddings and trying to pick out which pictures to put on the blog. I’ve been sharing a lot of baby photos lately and I think it’s time I snap out of baby fever for a minute since wedding season is HERE!

There’s nothing like the energy on a wedding day… the excitement, anticipation, nerves, tears, laughter and love. No two weddings are ever the same – it’s the unique touches and special moments that create the story you’ll be telling your grandkids some day. Dredging out the album, dusting it off a bit and showing them how people got married in the ‘old days’.

One thing I’m sure they won’t need to explain is the photos from their “First Look”. The way this is catching on I think it will become the ‘new’ tradition! With the chaos of wedding day it’s truly a beautiful moment that the couple gets to share before the guests arrive and before the day starts. It’s definitely a WOW moment filled with every emotion you could imagine and I’m always honored to be able to be in the room when it happens.

Who am I kidding, I’m honored to be included in the whole day!!! Weddings Rock! I said it!

Who wouldn’t love going to a celebration everyday of their ‘work-life’. I can’t wait to see what 2010 has in store for me!

Leah and Joe are celebrating their 4 month anniversary and I figured what better way to say Happy Anniversary then finally picking out my favorite images from their wedding and getting them up on the blog!

They were married at The Colony Club in Detroit which is now easily one of my favorite locations in the “D”. It is so warm and inviting – of course, anything over 30 degrees would have been warm and inviting on their wedding day. Sheesh! What a freezing cold January day!

I remember meeting with Leah last year and going over all of her plans with her. It always amazes me to walk in to a wedding and see what my couple’s have been visualizing all along. When it all comes together and looks gorgeous there is just such a weight off their shoulders – All the planning pays off so for those of  you overwhelmed as your wedding draws near just know that it WILL all come together – Everyone WILL have a great time and it WILL definitely be a day you’ll never forget (If you do, you’ll have the pictures to remind you! )
