Where is the BEST place to be on the weekend of the HEIGHT of fall colors? At Kensington that’s where. And with who? These guys! It was a little chilly and I was fighting nothing short of laryngitis but I seriously would not change a thing about their day.

For one, calmness just floats around these two. Usually when I walk into my first location there is a lot of hustle and bustle and chaos is just bouncing off the walls but it was just so quiet and calm when I walked into Kelly’s master bathroom where she was getting the final touches of her makeup done. She greeted me like an old friend and from that moment I just knew it was going to be a spectacular day.

I couldn’t think of a better place to go in between the ceremony and reception than Kensington. It was incredible! The leaves were glorious (which is really the only word that you can use to describe them) and Kelly looked so stunning set amongst the trees and color.  JJ did too but it’s totally weird for me to say that LOL!

We almost got hit by numerous cars in the tunnel of trees we found but it was SO worth it!

Looking back on the day though, I’d have to say my favorite part was their toasts. Their best friends nailed it! I think a good measure of how in love a couple is is how their friends speak of them on their wedding day. That probably sounds weird as there are so many other indicators but your maid of honor and your best man know you better than anyone else in the world and when they get choked up with the feels because they are that excited for you and the new chapter you are starting it just melts my heart.
