I started out just grabbing a few sneak peeks for Jamie and Doug and the next thing I knew it was 3am and I had what you see below.. not QUITE a sneak peek.. I did stop myself before I got into the reception photos though.. I mean I have to leave some surprises for when they see their full gallery!

I met Doug back in 2009 when I shot his sister Lindsay’s wedding. 2009!?!? Where does the time go? I was so excited to hear from him and his fiance Jamie when they were planning their wedding!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had, I knew we’d have fun.. I’ve dealt with his family long enough (there have been many weddings they have been gracious enough to refer me to over the years and I’ve gotten to see a lot of them at those weddings) but I had no idea how much I’d be laughing as I watched the two families play off each other. Doug and Jamie are going to make it.. they are cut from the same cloth – their families have identical sarcastic senses of humor yet a warm charm that makes you feel right at home with them and part of them.

Besides the jokes while taking pictures I’m going to have to say the best line of the day came from Jamie’s dad’s toast where he essentially was thanking Doug because now that he would be taking care of his daughter it was as if he had gotten a raise. OMG everyone was laughing so hard they were crying. That’s my kind of toast! I could go on and on but I’m humoring myself as it is to think  you’re still reading this.. I’m sure you’re on to the good stuff…
